A portable waste solution designed to reduce ocean-bound plastic. Inspired by the pitcher plant, it provides a secure and reusable way for beachgoers to store their waste until proper disposal. By eliminating the need for single-use plastic bags, it encourages responsible waste habits, keeping beaches cleaner and protecting marine life. Its compact design clips easily onto backpacks, ensuring convenience and accessibility for every user.
Responsible Material Choices
Constructed from PLA (Polylactic Acid), a common and recyclable material, the design enables mono-materiality for easier end-of-life processing. A replaceable lid, durable PLA fabric, and structural leaf pattern enhance usability, while a matte finish helps maintain a clean appearance over time. Prioritising practical and responsible material choices, it balances functionality with waste reduction.
